English Blog

In the book Color Of Water: A black man's tribute to His white mother , James Mcbride uses direct characterization. James keeps you interested by including exactly what's going on such as "The shopping bag full of macaroni and cheese and sweet potato pies burst open and food flew open"(McBride 215).McBride puts events in his book that everyday people can relate to. "Mommy walking me to the bus stop and every afternoon picking me up standing on the corner " (McBride 11-12).As the book tell's McBrides experiences he also reveals his mothers past "I would take pennies from the store cash register so Frances and I could go to the chad wick movie theatre (Mcbride 82) ".

One Funny childhood story

As a child at the age of 3 i had a babysitter who liked to take me to the park on sunny warm days. My grandma working only 2-3 blocks away would sometimes take me to the store during her lunch hour & then bring me back home. Usually when my grandma would ask if i wanted to go to the store ; I was at the park .One day I was at the park and my grandma cameover , I told her that i wanted to go to the store with her. Grandma told me to tell my babysitter before we left . My babysitter had been talking to one of her fellow babysitters didn't pay attention when i told her. I went with my grandma and returned back to my apartment about an hour later. My babysitter not paying attention earlier, now had been home telling my mother over the phone who was at work that I was kidnapped.

No More banners of the bible held by cheerleaders at football games

Since when did this start? If this is a public school i'd like to know why bible sayings are made as banners for cheerleaders to hold. This had been going on for the past several years and now it's being stopped. These are sayings from the bible it is not fair for the students who do not believe in this . Students can believe in books such as the Quran and the Torah.

Blogs in Education

                                            Blogs in Education

Blogging benefits the education. It's beneficial because teachers can communicate with,: students, parents and other teacher  (staff).     It's helpful to school's because it helps keep the school and its students in touch. Also if students need help about a homework they can blog their questions to their classmates and teachers. Parents will also have a good way to having access. Blogging in schools helps because students and teachers get to improve in their computer skills.

Teachers and other school officials are able to communicate with others through blogs.A teacher or authority can contact their class for homework reminders etc.If a student is being bad or is doing well, a teacher can contact the parent through a blog. It can help teachers with homework . A teacher can have students blog homework because it is one easier and two a teacher doesn't have to read a child's sloppy handwriting. A teacher can  easily update their blog.

The school can easily contact parents and students . If the student's parent needs to be contacted, the school can easily blog something to a parent about it. The school can also send newsletters. Instead of sending newsletters requiring paper they can save paper and money. It can also get parents and students more involve in school and higher school spirit. It is also easier to keep in touch.

Blogging homework assignments and questions to teachers and classmates is a lot easier. Instead of having to wait till the next day or 'till the weekend ends just blog. You can ask your teacher for homework if it's missing or if your absent. Help can also be asked for from the teacher and other classmates. Students knowing that they can easily ask a friend or teacher then they won't have to remember later on. They can get their work done when needed and on time.

I say blogging helps both education and students .  Students , teachers and parent's can easily stay in contact. It will be easier to get homework done an questions answered. It will provide more school spirit because the students will know how to find out what they're missing, etc. I think it helps both and everyone gets to create some computer skills.
